Description: Join us on Wednesday, September 27th, at 6 p.m. for a fiery Science on Tap event at the Trinity County Brewing Company in Weaverville, CA. This month, Lenya Quinn-Davidson will present "Rebuilding a Culture of Fire in CA: People, Policy, and Practice." Lenya serves as the Fire Network Director for the University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, based in Arcata. Her work focuses on engaging community members to expand prescribed fire education and practice, as well as developing parallel state policies to institute the certified burn boss program. Join us for this Science on Tap event, where you can enjoy drinks, savor delicious food, and immerse yourself in captivating local science in the company of your friends. Science on Tap is an engaging educational series proudly sponsored by the Trinity River Restoration Program and hosted by the Trinity County Resource Conservation District.
