objectives for the 2002 avian monitoring were to:
1) Replicate bird surveys conducted during 1990 research along 63 km below the Lewiston Dam.
2) Compile and access data collected in 1990 for use in the monitoring design.
3) Begin avian monitoring at a sample of potential bank rehabilitation sites.
4) Continue establishment of baseline data for the monitoring element of the adaptive management strategy of the Trinity River Restoration Project.
